Connection Fixer
Getting a "Failed to connect" error? This guide fixes 99% of Hytale errors.
Step 1 — Sync Your Clock (Most Common Fix)
If your computer clock is even 30 seconds wrong, Hytale's session token will fail and you will be kicked. This fixes 80% of connection issues.
Windows:
- Right-click the Clock in the bottom-right taskbar.
- Select Adjust date/time.
- Enable "Set time automatically".
- Click the "Sync now" button.
macOS:
- Open System Settings → General → Date & Time.
- Enable "Set date and time automatically".
Step 2 — Verify the Server IP
Make sure you are using the correct, always-online IP.

Step 3 — Restart Hytale Completely
Ghost sessions can prevent login. Force-close Hytale entirely.
- Press CTRL + SHIFT + ESC to open Task Manager.
- End task on Hytale and Hytale Launcher.
- Relaunch and try again.
Step 4 — Fix I18nModule Language Error
If you see "I18nModule.getMessages" in your error log, your system language is incompatible.
Windows Fix:
- Open Settings → Language & region.
- Set Windows display language to English (United States).
- Set Regional format to English (United States).
- Restart your computer and relaunch Hytale.
Step 5 — Disable Firewall / Antivirus
Your security software may be blocking Hytale's connection to Orbis. Temporarily disable it to test. If that fixes it, add Hytale as an Allowed App in your firewall settings, then re-enable protection.
